• (2) Sequence of the Narrative:

  • material from “Triple Tradition” found in the same sequence in Matthew and Luke
  • material from the “Double Tradition” or “Q” found in different places in Matthew and Luke
  • Matthew and Luke each used Mark as their narrative source and added other material (“Q”) independently, at different points
