(1) Patterns of Agreement:
- within the “Triple Tradition,” Matthew and Luke almost never agree with each other against Mark.
- Almost always Matthew/Mark against Luke, or Luke/Mark against Matthew
- Suggests independent changes of Mark by Matthew or Luke
