Our second discussion of Watchmen will be of chapters 5-8. As part of preparing for the discussion, you should (as always) think of questions about the text that we might discuss. Your assignment is to send one such question with a specific reference (see below) and before 8 am on Fri. (to helmang@wabash.edu).
The chapters of Watchmen are paginated separately, so you will need to give a chapter number as well as a page number. The chapters are all the same length, running 32 pp. after the initial graphic page with the chapter number. Most of these pages are numbered; but, for all but the last chapter, the ordinary graphics pages are followed by some that purport to be facsimiles of other texts, and any page numbers appearing in the latter are the numbers in the original source. Since there are only a few such pages (6 for ch. 1 and 4 each for chs. 2-11), you can just count out their page numbers (the last should always be p. 32).
