Our discussion Mon. and Wed. (3/25 and 3/27) will be devoted to protest songs. Eight of these (the “EQ standards”) are being discussed by all sections; others will be your selection.
Your assignment is as follows:
• (Optionally) suggest a song to add to the pool for discussion (just one so the list doesn’t get too long) by sending me a link at which it can be heard. Your suggestion should reach me by 3 pm Sunday (3/24). (It’s OK if you duplicate another student’s suggestion, but don’t duplicate one on the list of EQ standards.)
• Listen to the songs available (here and on Moodle) at 3 pm Sunday (or shortly thereafter) and come to class with questions for discussion. (Lyrics are available on Moodle for the EQ standards.) If you did not suggest a song, you should send me a discussion question by 6 am on Monday.
