We will be discussing two sorts of material: some short selections from Chinese writing on art in the readings book (section NN) and a group of Chinese paintings. You can find the paintings in a PowerPoint presentation on Moodle in the “C&T-201-01-08-FA” site (i.e., the site for the main course rather than this section); the presentation is titled “C&T 201, Chinese Painting, Fall 2008.” The table below gives some information on the slides in this presentation; that same information is given in a PDF file that you can find via this link.
