#9 Texas (10-2): Texas QB Chris Simms will finish his career in Dallas.  The Longhorns started out the season with aspirations to win a championship but the loss to Oklahoma ended all possibilities.  A late loss to Texas Tech kept from a possible BCS Bowl bid.

#25 LSU (8-4): The Tigers feature a dominating defense, however, it has not shown up to play every game.  An impressive victory over Florida is the only big game this team has won.
