This site is produced by the students and professor of History 58 at Wabash College, a seminar devoted to furthering the field of Latin American Environmental History. Seminar members are each involved in ongoing research about specific subjects in contemporary and historical environmental studies of the region. We encourage and welcome your reactions to our work, and hope that together we can suggest some directions for future research in this field.

To access our research, click on one of the links at left. To access the work of a particular student, click on the titles listed below, or on the head of the student in the picture at the top of the page. Projects will unfold in stages; links will become active at different dates in the semester. Visitors are encouraged to use mail links to students or the professor to give feedback on the various projects. General feedback on the class or website is welcomed by the professor.

Thanks very much for joining our community of envirnomental scholars!
