Spring - A web-delivered multimedia piece:
The music is microtonal. The 4-tone bass ostinato continues throughout. Higher bell-like sounds have frequency ratios of 16 to the tones of the ostinato, ranging from 17/16 to 31/16. Digital samples include Chinese monks chanting, various national anthems, flowing water, and birds. The piece is in the form of a passacaglia. Pixellated pictorial graphics resemble a slide show, preparing the viewer for what happens to them at the end. Animated graphic motifs correspond to certain layers in the sonic texture.

The music was created with:
A Yamaha TX802 digital frequency modulation tone generator

The graphics were created with:  Macromedia Flash  and Arcsoft photoMontage for Windows
