Requirements: (1) Written work: (i) a brief report (c. 1-2 pp. or 300-600 words) on the discussion of a remark in one of the commentaries on the Investigations, (ii) a short paper (3-4 pp. or 900-1200 words) exploring connections among two or three remarks, and a longer paper (c. 8 pp. or 2400 words) concerning an issue of interpretation raised in the secondary literature. (2) Regular, prepared, and active participation in class discussion (including an oral version of your report on a commentary and regular responsibility to identify remarks for discussion). Your final grade will be based on these in the following way: 10%, 20%, and 40%, respectively, for the papers and 30% for class participation.
