Reading guide for Wed 1/26: Hamblin, Fallacies, ch 2, pp 73-88
and selections (your choice) from Hansen and Pinto, Fallacies, ch 1, pp 19-38

Finish Hamblin's chapter on Aristotle and then pick one or two fallacies and read Aristotle's account of them in the Hansen and Pinto anthology (you can find references on p. 9—these are to the pages indicated in square brackets in the text).

Be ready to suggest one of Aristotle's accounts to talk about (either because it sheds light on Hamblin's discussion or simply because it's puzzling).
