Write a brief reflection (c. 150-250 words) in which you discuss something specific about the performance of Macbeth that was different from reading the play. This might be a feature of the the performance—e.g., the way a speech was delivered, the appearance of a character, something about the sets, lighting, or costumes—that was different from what you imagined when you read the play. Or it might be some part of the text that struck you in performance in a way that it hadn’t when you read.

Your reflection should (i) describe the difference and (ii) discuss its significance. The latter discussion might be one in which say how the performance was better (or worse) than what you imagined and your reasons for making that judgment. Or it might be some insight about the play, something you realized about it, only because of the performance.
