The Wabash College community is mourning the loss of one of its most influential teachers and scholars. William C. Placher ’70, the LaFollette Distinguished Professor in the Humanities, passed away over the weekend at the age of 60. A memorial service will be held this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Pioneer Chapel at Wabash with a reception to follow in Sparks Center.
